Dr. Christen Jankowski

Founder and Doctor Emeritus

“Dr. J” graduated from college back in ’71 and went right into the Army, where he served for 7 years before deciding to visit Oregon and become an eye doctor. Upon graduation in ‘84, it was back in the Army for 4 more years, seeing patients at the 34th General Hospital in Germany. Now married, he returned Stateside in ‘87, and except for an overseas callup for Desert Storm, he’s been here ever since. With 4 children and his beloved ’66 Mercury, you’ll likely find him under the car changing out something to keep everything running in the family motor pool.

Dr. Nick Jankowski

Dr. Nick was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, attending George Fox University for undergraduate and Pacific University College of Optometry for his doctorate. He enjoys watching football, attending Portland Trailblazers games in his spare time, and playing sports when able. Dr. Nick and his wife like to travel to new interesting parts of the state, country, and world when they have the chance.

Dr. Shannon Soper (Jankowski)

Dr. Soper was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. She moved to the beautiful Pacific NW for college earning a B.S. in Physics from Pacific University followed by her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Soper is passionate about eye care as a whole with a focus on specialty contacts and ocular disease. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring wineries, and traveling whenever possible.

Dr. Olga Kraushaar

Dr. Olga Kraushaar grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She got her undergraduate at Portland State University and then her Doctorate of Optometry at Pacific University. Dr. Kraushaar is passionate about bringing more myopia control into the practice as well as primary pediatric exams. In her spare time, she enjoys houseplants, gardening, stand-up paddleboarding and motorcycle rides with her husband.
