Dr. Christen Jankowski
“Dr. J” graduated from college back in ’71 and went right into the Army, where he served for 7 years before deciding to visit Oregon and become an eye doctor. Upon graduation in ‘84, it was back in the Army for 4 more years, seeing patients at the 34th General Hospital in Germany. Now married, he returned Stateside in ‘87, and except for an overseas callup for Desert Storm, he’s been here ever since. With 4 children and his beloved ’66 Mercury, you’ll likely find him under the car changing out something to keep everything running in the family motor pool.
Dr. Nick Jankowski
Dr. Nick was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, attending George Fox University for undergraduate and Pacific University College of Optometry for his doctorate. He enjoys watching football, attending Portland Trailblazers games in his spare time, and playing sports when able. Dr. Nick and his wife like to travel to new interesting parts of the state, country, and world when they have the chance.
Dr. Shannon Soper
Dr. Soper was born and raised in Rockford, Illinois. She moved to the beautiful Pacific NW for college earning a B.S. in Physics from Pacific University followed by her Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University College of Optometry. Dr. Soper is passionate about eye care as a whole with a focus on specialty contacts and ocular disease. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, exploring wineries, and traveling when possible.

Erika
Billing Specialist
After graduating Eastern Washington University, Erika entered the profession by way of Human Relations and Project Management, assisting small to medium sized firms establish Personnel Departments. As the Billing Specialist, Erika submits insurance billing, receives and sorts incoming insurance payments, and manages patient accounts.
?When not on the job, you will find her spending time with her family, puppies or going to a local car show.
Kalin
Optician
A natural educator with over 11 years experience as an optician, Kalin loves presenting to patients the latest designs in different lens technologies, customized for everyday life, all in a fun new frame. She’s also our “go-to person” for adjustments and repairs.When Kalin’s away from the office, she enjoys going to Comi-con, traveling, hiking and snowshoeing.
Jeanne
Receptionist
Born in Orleans, France, Jeanne and her US Air Force family lived throughout the States and Europe. An insurance company employee for 16 years, she switch to the medical field, working 19 years for Peace Health before joining our team manning the front desk in 2018.
The joys of her life are 1 woodworking husband, 2 wonderful daughters, 7 equally wonderful grandchildren and 5 amazing great grandchildren. With the presumption of spare time, she tends her garden on 2 acres, spends time at the beach, and plays a mean game of golf.

Ophthalmic Technician
Julie has been part of the eyecare industry for over 12 years and a member of the Vancouver community since 1986. She and her husband love the outdoors, are avid RVers, and have a very spoiled 5 year old Kelpie named Magnum. She is excited to get to know all of our Mt.
